History of Bonteheuwel High School

Bonteheuwel High is a co-educational high school that was founded in 1964 to serve the community of Bonteheuwel. Over the years the school produced high calibre of students and is most notibly associated with producing the late anti-apartheid activist Ashley Kriel. It has since then been awarded the blue plaque award to  commemorate its historical significance with the late Ashley Kriel.
